Grizabella
Grizabella was the tribe’s outcast. When she was young she was glamourous and beautiful, but she ventured out of the Junkyard and wandered over many lands. When she appears at the Junkyard the tribe refused to except her. After several attempts to make the Jellicles understand what she’d been through, the kitten, Victoria, touches her and she is welcomed back into the tribe and given the privilege to journey to the heaviside layer to be reborn. Grizabella is the only member of the cast wearing high-heeled shoes and her wig is made out of real hair. Her costume consists of a black sequined dress under a ragged coat to represent the days when she was ‘The Glamour Cat’. Her relatives could be Old Deuteronomy, Munkustrap, or Demeter.
